Sharing a View-Only Review Link

Last updated September 14, 2026

Sometimes the person you send a proposal to has to show it to someone else before saying yes. A band director checks with the principal, a club organizer runs it past the board, or a parent shows the grandparents who are helping pay.

Forwarding the client link to them is risky, because anyone holding the client link can approve, book, and pay. A review link solves that. It opens the same proposal, with every way to respond removed.

What a reviewer can and cannot do

A reviewer canA reviewer cannot
Read the whole proposal: options, pricing, itinerary, what's included, termsApprove or decline
Compare optionsBook a spot or check out
Pay, authorize a card, or buy insurance
Sign or accept terms
Fill in forms, join a waitlist, or leave comments

A banner at the top reads: "Shared with you for review. Only the trip organizer can approve this trip."

This isn't just hidden buttons. The review link carries none of the client link's details, and our servers turn away any attempt to book or pay with it. It works the same for individual proposals and group booking pages.

  1. Open the proposal in the proposal editor.
  2. In the preview and share area, find Review link (view only).
  3. Click Copy review link. The link is created the first time you copy it.
  4. Send it to your client to forward on, or send it to the reviewer yourself.

If your agency has a custom domain, the link uses it, just like your client link.

Turn it off or replace it

  • Turn off stops the link working right away. Anyone who opens it sees a message that the link was turned off.
  • Regenerate creates a new link and turns off the old one. Use this when a link has gone further than you meant it to.
  • After turning a link off, click Create new link to share again.

Your client link is never affected. The client can still approve and book as usual.

Views

When a reviewer opens the link, it's recorded as a review view, separate from your client's views. It does not count toward the proposal's view count, does not mark the proposal as viewed by the client, and does not start any "client viewed" follow-ups or automations. Your own visits to the review link aren't recorded.
