Adding Library Content to a Trip

The picker is the screen between your Library and a client's trip. It opens on the place your trip goes, it shows you the whole item before you commit to it, and it lets you add the whole thing or a single part of it onto a named day.

You reach it from two places:

• In an itinerary: open the trip's itinerary and click Library.
• In a proposal: open the option editor and add from the Library there.

It is the same control both times, so a resort write-up you built once serves every trip that goes there.

It Opens on Your Trip's Own Place

The first thing on the filter row is your trip's destination.

A trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico opens with two chips — Riviera Maya and Mexico — the narrower one first and already switched on. That is the difference between finding your Riviera Maya resort immediately and scrolling past Cabo to get to it.

The chips come from your Library, not from a fixed list of places. They are the labels your items actually carry. If nothing in your Library is tagged for where this trip goes, you get no chips — and that is not a fault, it is the honest answer.

Each chip carries a count, so you can tell before you press it whether it is worth pressing. The count respects whatever else you have filtered to: if you are looking at Mine only, Riviera Maya 4 means four of yours, not four in the whole catalog.

Sorted by How Well It Fits

When a chip matches, the list is sorted by how well each item fits this trip and says so on the right of the filter row.

The order is:

1. anything that matches what the trip actually contains (the For this trip group at the top — a ship, a resort you have already booked);
2. then, within that, items about your trip's own place, then items about the wider place around it;
3. then yours, then your agency's, then everyone else's;
4. then most recently updated.

When there is no chip, the list is alphabetical, exactly as it always was — and the sort note is not shown. If you do not see "Sorted by how well it fits this trip", the list is not sorted that way.

Something you used to see may have moved down the list. The picker shows a page of results, and ranking by fit changes which items make that page, not just their order. Use the search box — it looks at every item in your Library, not just the ones on screen.

One Filter Row

Everything narrows from a single row:

Both menus name what you have chosen, so the row still tells you what you are looking at: once you pick Resorts it reads Resorts ▾.

Read It, Then Add It

Every row shows its photo, its full name, what kind of thing it is and where it is. The button on the row says Read, and it opens the item in the pane beside the list — the real content, with its photos, exactly as your client would receive it.

Adding happens in that pane, beside the thing you are adding:

• Add to Day 1 ▾ picks where it lands. A guide or a destination write-up opens on At a glance; a resort opens on its check-in day if the trip already has one, otherwise Day 1; everything else opens on the day you came from.
• The button beside it adds it. A whole resort on a day lands as one hotel card, not a scatter of parts, and the button says so.
• Tick the parts you want and the button becomes Add 2 parts. Untick them and it goes back to the whole item.

There is no Add on the row itself any more. Reading first is the point: four resorts with similar names look identical in a list, and adding the wrong one is a mistake you then have to find and undo.

In a proposal option there is no day to choose, so there is no day control — the content goes into the option you opened the picker from.

Parts Marked "Advisor only"

A section written for you rather than for your client — agent rates, a booking portal link — is tagged Advisor only. You can read it here; it has no Add, and it is never counted in "Add all N parts". It cannot reach a client's trip.

Premium Products You Have Not Bought

If a publisher you already buy from sells something separately that you do not hold, it appears at the foot of the list under Not in your library yet — its name, who publishes it, how many items it holds, and Unlock.

It is deliberately not addable and cannot be opened: you are seeing that it exists, not what is inside it. Unlock opens Library → Premium access in a new tab, where you enter a licence key, so you do not lose the trip you are building.

Holding a publisher's membership does not include the things they sell separately. That is why these show up here rather than silently not existing — an advisor who searched for a theme-park guide, found nothing and concluded their key was broken is exactly the confusion this removes.

When the List Is Empty

• Under a filter: the likeliest fix is the filter. Widen the place to Everywhere ▾, or set All sources ▾ back to All.
• With nothing at all: create an item, or save a resort from Library → Suppliers, and it shows up here.
• A row that says "No content yet" is an item nobody has written into yet. You can read it; its Add is greyed out until it has something in it.
