Personalizing Supplier Automations

Your agency's supplier automations are the milestone emails that go out on their own once a trip is on the books — the Royal Caribbean final-payment reminder, the Carnival check-in nudge, the welcome-home note. An owner or admin writes them once and they run for every advisor in the agency.

That's great for consistency, and frustrating when the wording isn't yours. If you've ever opened one of those shared emails and hit "This is a shared agency template", this article is for you.

You have two choices, and both apply to your clients only:

  • Personalize for my clients — your edited version sends instead of the agency one.
  • Turn off for my clients — nothing sends for that automation.

Neither one changes the shared template, and neither one affects any other advisor.

Personalize an automation

  1. Go to Templates → the Automations tab.
  2. Find the shared supplier automation you want to make your own.
  3. Open the menu on the card and choose Personalize for my clients. (You can also open the email and click Personalize for my clients in the top right.)
  4. JourneyFuse makes you a private copy and opens it in the editor.
  5. Rewrite the subject and body in your voice, then Save.

The card now shows a Your version badge. From this point on, when that milestone comes up on a trip assigned to you, your clients get your email — the agency version is skipped for them.

You can edit your version any time; it lives in your personal templates.

Timing is yours too. Your copy carries its own trigger, delay, and recipients, so if you'd rather send the final-payment reminder 45 days out instead of 30, change it on your copy and only your clients see the new schedule.

Turn an automation off for your clients

Sometimes you don't want a different email — you want no email. Maybe you already call every client about final payment and the automated reminder steps on your toes.

  1. Open the menu on the automation card.
  2. Choose Turn off for my clients.

The card shows Off for you, and that automation stops queueing for trips assigned to you. Everyone else's clients keep getting it.

Go back to the agency version

Changed your mind? Open the menu and choose Use agency version. The shared email takes over for your clients again, starting with your next trip.

If you'd personalized it, your copy is not deleted — it stays in your personal templates so your writing isn't lost. You can re-personalize later, or delete the copy yourself if you don't want it.

Good to know

  • Only shared agency automations can be personalized. Emails you already own, you just edit directly.
  • Your version follows the trip assignment. These overrides apply to trips assigned to you. A trip with no advisor assigned uses the agency defaults.
  • The owner keeps a master switch. If an owner or admin turns a shared automation off for the whole agency, it stops for everyone — a personal version does not bring it back.
  • Changes apply going forward. Personalizing or turning something off affects trips created (or rescheduled) after you make the change, not emails already sitting in the queue. To adjust an email that's already scheduled, open the trip's Communications tab and remove or edit it there.
  • Journeys are separate. If you built a Journey that already includes this email as a step, that step still sends what it points at. Journeys are per-advisor already, so edit the step there.
