The New Proposal Editor: What Moved Where

Last updated October 10, 2026

The proposal editor now opens as one card per step, with a rail down the side that shows where you are. Open a card, fill it in, move to the next. Nothing the classic editor could do has been removed; most sections just have a new home.

Prefer the old layout for now? Open the ⋯ menu at the top of the proposal and choose Switch to classic editor. Classic stays available for two weeks, then it is retired. You can come back with Use the new editor in the classic ⋯ menu.

The cards, top to bottom

  1. Trip & client (on a group page: The group and The page travelers see)
  2. Intro message
  3. Options, with Day-by-day to approve when the proposal has one
  4. Add-ons
  5. Travel protection
  6. Details & terms
  7. Deposit & payments
  8. Review & send
  9. Conversation

A card that needs your attention shows a colored dot in the rail. Review & send lists everything still to fix; each item opens the right card and scrolls to the field.

Switching back to classic

  1. Open the ⋯ menu at the top of the proposal.
  2. Choose Switch to classic editor. The page reloads in the classic layout.
  3. To return, open ⋯ and choose Use the new editor.

The choice is saved to your account, so it applies to every proposal you open until you change it.

This is part of JourneyFuse’s travel proposal software: branded proposals clients can review, choose from and pay on.
