A little friendly competition moves numbers. The Sales Leaderboard puts a share-of-sales pie chart and a ranked list of your advisors right on the dashboard, so everyone can see who is leading this month and where they stand.
Because a leaderboard shows one advisor's production to another, you decide who sees it. Out of the box only owners and admins do, and nothing changes on anyone's dashboard until you choose otherwise.
The widget is added per person, so each advisor decides whether to keep it on their own dashboard and where it sits. Drag it anywhere in the grid like any other widget.
| Setting | What advisors see | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Off | Nothing. The widget disappears for everyone, including you. | Agencies where ranking would land badly |
| Owners and admins only | Nothing. Only you and your admins see the board. (the default) | Most agencies, and anyone who wants the numbers without publishing them |
| Everyone, others anonymous | Their own row by name, everyone else as "Advisor 2", "Advisor 3". They see where they placed and how the agency splits, not who is who. | The recommended way to let advisors compete |
| Everyone, named | The full board, every advisor by name. | Small, close teams who already talk numbers openly |
Anonymous really is anonymous. Other advisors' names never leave the server on that setting, so there is nothing to find by digging around the page.
Owners and admins always see names. They can already see every booking in the agency, so hiding names from them would not protect anything.
The board ranks on sales volume, with booking count as the tiebreaker. The pie shows each advisor's share of the agency's total sales for the period. Switch between This month and This year at the top of the widget.
Commission is never shown on the leaderboard, on any setting. What an advisor earns depends on the split they negotiated with you, and that stays between the two of you. Commission still appears everywhere it always did: their own Commissions tab, your Agency Scoreboard, and Reports.
A booking counts toward an advisor when they are the assigned advisor on the trip. Bookings on trips with nobody assigned rank no one, so they sit out of the board entirely.
The leaderboard counts real client production only. These never appear:
This is the same math the Agent Scoreboard on the Agency page uses, so the two always agree.
Can one advisor see another's clients from the leaderboard? No. The widget carries counts and totals, nothing that reaches a specific client, trip, or booking.
An advisor has no bookings this month. What do they see? The board, plus a line telling them nothing is logged to them yet. Advisors with no bookings are not ranked.
I turned it on and someone's dashboard did not change. The widget still has to be added. Ask them to click Add widget on the dashboard and pick Sales Leaderboard.
I turned it off. Does everyone lose their layout? No. The widget hides, and if you turn it back on it returns to the same spot on each person's dashboard.
