JourneyFuse is a Faye partner. Instead of retyping a trip into another website and pasting a quote link back, you get live Faye prices from inside the trip and your client buys the policy right where they already are: the proposal, a standalone insurance link, or their client portal. Once they buy, the policy number, a booking for it and the policy PDF all show up on the trip.
Faye covers US residents only (all 50 states and DC). A client who lives outside the US can’t be quoted, and JourneyFuse tells you so before it asks Faye.
Faye licenses and trains each advisor individually, so every advisor connects their own account. Go to Settings → Integrations → Faye Travel Insurance and pick one:
firstname.lastname.Faye requires the training every year. When yours is more than a year old, quoting pauses and the Faye settings page shows a Renew training button.
While you’re on that page, enter Your Faye commission rate (%). JourneyFuse uses it to record the expected commission on each policy your clients buy. Leave it blank and policies are recorded without one.
The plans join the proposal’s insurance list like any other plan, labelled Faye. If insurance was switched off on the proposal, it switches on as Optional. Any plans you added yourself stay where they are, and quoting Faye again replaces only the Faye plans.
Trip changed after you quoted? A Faye price depends on the trip cost, the dates and who is traveling. If any of those change, get the quotes again so your client isn’t shown an outdated price. Faye also re-prices when your client buys, and they are asked to confirm the new price before anything is charged.
No proposal? On the trip, open Terms & Insurance. In the Insurance section, click Send Faye quote. Run the same quote, then click Send to client.
Your client gets an insurance link by email. On that page they can buy a Faye plan, decline coverage, or tell you they already have coverage. If they buy, the link is marked answered automatically and its reminders stop.
When your client picks a Faye plan, the usual “request a quote” button is replaced by a Buy step:
Their client portal shows a Travel protection section too. Before buying, it shows the Faye plans you quoted. Afterwards it shows the policy number, each traveler’s plan ID, the policy documents, and Faye’s claims link and 24/7 support line (+1 833 240 7056).
Faye policies also appear in the trip’s Terms & Insurance section. JourneyFuse checks each policy with Faye every night and when you click Refresh from Faye. If Faye cancels or reissues a policy, the booking follows.
Can I change or cancel a policy in JourneyFuse? Not yet. Changes and cancellations happen in Faye’s advisor portal, and JourneyFuse picks them up on its next check.
What does “Bought on Faye: confirm the policy number” mean? Your client finished buying on Faye’s own checkout page, which is used when in-page payment isn’t available. Faye confirmed the purchase but didn’t send JourneyFuse the policy number. Look it up in Faye’s advisor portal.
Does Faye cover cruises and international trips? Yes. Faye covers domestic and international trips, including cruises.
Can each person in a group booking buy their own policy? Not in this first version. A Faye quote covers the travelers you priced, so group booking pages keep the normal insurance quote request. The lead client on a trip can buy for everyone you quoted.
Who do clients call about a claim? Faye, directly: +1 833 240 7056, around the clock. The claims link is in their portal.
