Plenty of advisors do their best work after the kids are in bed. That is a fine time to write, and a poor time for a client to get an email: a proposal that arrives at 11:40 PM reads differently from the same proposal at 8:00 AM, and a reply sent at midnight sets an expectation you may not want.
Send later lets you finish the email now and choose when it goes out.
A Send later button sits next to Send in:
| Where | What it sends |
|---|---|
| Proposals → Send to client | The proposal email, including your personal note or a loaded template |
| Proposals → Resend proposal | A resend or a nudge |
| A trip → Email Client | A one-off email to the trip's travelers |
| Inbox, a client, or a lead → Compose | A one-off email |
Click Send later and pick one of the suggestions, or choose your own date and time:
Times are in your time zone, the one your computer is set to. The menu says which one, so "8:00 AM" means 8:00 AM where you are.
Emails go out within five minutes of the time you chose.
Every scheduled email waits in your Outbox, in a Scheduled section at the top, soonest first. Each one shows who it is going to and when, with three buttons:
Hold for review and Send later work together. If your Send Mode is Hold for review, a scheduled email still goes out at the time you chose. Choosing a time is you approving it. If your Send Mode is Block all, nothing is sent, scheduled or not.
Exactly what they would have received if you had pressed Send: the same wording, branding, signature and attachments. If your Gmail or Outlook is connected, it goes out from your own address at the scheduled time, just as a normal send would.
Scheduling a proposal email makes the proposal link live straight away, so you can still copy the link or preview it. The proposal is marked as sent for the time you chose, and if you turned on automatic follow-ups, the first reminder counts from that time, not from when you scheduled it.
If you cancel a scheduled proposal email, the proposal itself stays live. Use Resend proposal when you are ready to email it.
If something stops the email going out at its time, such as a disconnected mailbox or an address that bounces, you get a notification in the bell, and the email shows as Delivery failed in Sent. Open it there and click Send it now to try again once the problem is fixed. Nothing fails silently.
Send an email, create a follow-up task, or tag someone automatically based on how they answer one of your forms.
What your clients get from you automatically, and when — payment reminders, documents, cruise check-in windows and welcome-home notes, sent for you.
Send bulk emails to your clients — filtered by tag, agent assignment, or the whole agency — with open and click tracking.
