AI connections let you ask Claude or ChatGPT questions about your agency's JourneyFuse data, in plain English:
It is read only. It cannot send anything, change anything or delete anything. Each person connects with their own JourneyFuse login, so what they can see always matches their role.
No client details, ever. AI connections never return a client's or lead's name, email, phone number, birthday, passport, address, or any card or payment details. Leads come back as assignment facts only (stage, assigned advisor, accepted or declined, and when). Group requests come back without the organizer's details.
| Owners and admins | Advisors | |
|---|---|---|
| Advisors: status, provisioned, invited, last login, deactivated, badges | Everyone, with their email | Only themselves |
| Leads: stage, assigned advisor, accepted/declined/pending, timestamps, assignment history | Every lead | Leads assigned to them |
| Commissions: what advisors logged, and the commission ledger (expected, received, paid out) | Every advisor | Their own |
| Group requests: status, requesting advisor, reviewer, destination, property, dates, rooms, head count, value | Every request | Requests they filed |
| Supplier Directory: categories, websites, agent portals, how to register and submit, commission rates, the supplier's sales reps | Everything | Everything |
Lite seats can't connect. AI connections need a full JourneyFuse seat, the same as API keys.
Notes, lead messages, form answers and decline reasons are not included. Supplier descriptions and booking notes are included, marked as text written by people, so the AI treats them as information and never as instructions.
AI connections are off for every agency until an owner or admin turns them on.
https://journeyfuse.com/api/mcpTurning it off pauses every connection without removing it. Turning it back on brings them all back, and nobody has to reconnect.
If your agency has turned off Advisor integrations on the same page, advisors can't use AI connections either. Owners and admins still can.
https://journeyfuse.com/api/mcp.Claude Team or Enterprise: an org owner adds the connector once for the whole team. Each person then clicks Connect and signs in as themselves, so there is no shared key and everyone sees only what their own role allows.
https://journeyfuse.com/api/mcp.Settings → API Keys → AI connections shows:
Owners and admins see everyone's. Advisors see their own. The log is kept for 180 days.
"Your agency has turned off AI connections." An owner or admin needs to switch it on in Settings → API Keys.
"AI connections are not included with a Lite seat." Lite seats can't connect. Ask your agency about a full seat.
"This app is not one JourneyFuse connects to." JourneyFuse connects to Claude and ChatGPT only. Other AI apps are refused.
Claude says it can't see someone else's leads. That is working as intended for an advisor login: advisors see their own records only.
It asks me to sign in again. Your connection was disconnected, or your membership changed. Click Connect again in Claude or ChatGPT.
