After Upgrading from Lite: Your Recorded Bookings

Last updated September 24, 2026

When you upgrade from Lite to the full platform, everything you did on Lite comes with you: your clients, leads and every commission you recorded. The one thing Lite never had is trips. A commission you recorded on Lite is a record of a sale, but it is not yet a booking inside a trip.

The Review bookings button on your dashboard welcome card (and Review recorded bookings on the Trips page) is how you bring those sales into trips.

Where to learn the rest

Open Training in the left sidebar (under Tools). Start with the Follow One Client track and watch the lessons in order: it follows one client from their first request to departure, so you see how leads, proposals, trips, invoices and commissions connect.

Bringing a recorded booking into a trip

  1. Click Review bookings on the dashboard, or Review recorded bookings on the Trips page.
  2. Tick the bookings you want to move. Up to 50 at a time.
  3. For each one, choose where it belongs:
    • New trip creates a trip for that traveler.
    • Your existing trips adds it to a trip you already have.
    • Your existing bookings links it to a booking you already entered, so nothing is duplicated.
  4. Click Review, check your choices, then Convert.

Your commission record stays intact. Its history, status and any payments move with it. No client messages are sent.

"Already in your trip"

If you rebuilt a Lite booking as a trip yourself (same confirmation number), there is nothing left to move. What there is instead is two copies of one commission: the one you filed by hand on Lite, and the one your trip's booking created.

The review shows these rows as Already in your trip with the trip's name. Click Yes, same sale, merge. That:

  • keeps the commission on your trip's booking,
  • removes the hand-filed copy, and
  • clears the row from the review and from your dashboard count.

Your trip and booking are not changed. If the two amounts differ, the merge keeps the booking's figure. To keep the hand-filed figure instead, or if they really are different sales (for example two identical rooms on the same dates), use Decide on Commissions. The Commissions page shows the same pair under One commission may already be recorded, where you can pick the amount or mark them as different sales.

Tip: Only say "different sales" when they truly are. Both copies then count in your totals and payouts.

Rows you cannot act on

A few rows need your agency: a commission that was already paid out, one that is waiting for agency approval, or one already linked elsewhere. These show a short reason and do not count toward the dashboard prompt. Ask your agency owner or admin to review them in the commission ledger.
