Your Data, Your Way — Export & Ownership

We believe JourneyFuse is the best platform for travel advisors on the market. But if it's ever not the right fit, we don't hold your data hostage. Everything you've entered — your clients, trips, bookings, invoices, leads, and commissions — is yours. You can download it all at any time, no questions asked.

What You Can Export

From Settings → Data Export, owners and admins can download six data sets as separate CSV files:

Each file downloads immediately — no waiting, no email, no ZIP. Open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or import it into another system.

How to Export Your Data

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon in the left sidebar)
  2. Click Data Export in the settings navigation
  3. Click ↓ CSV next to any data set you want to download
  4. The file downloads instantly to your browser's default download folder

Access note: Data Export is available to owners and admins only. Solo advisors (no team members) also have full access.

Your Data Is Isolated

Your agency's data is completely isolated from every other agency on JourneyFuse. No other agency can see your clients, trips, bookings, or any other records — this is enforced at the database level, not just the application layer.

Data Ownership

You own your data. JourneyFuse processes it on your behalf to power the features you use, but it remains yours at all times. We will never sell your data, share it with third parties for advertising, or use it for any purpose other than operating the platform for you.

What Happens If You Cancel

If you cancel your JourneyFuse subscription, your data remains accessible for 30 days so you can export everything you need. After that period, your data is permanently deleted from our servers.

We recommend doing a full export before cancelling, just to have your own backup on hand.

Tips

  • Run exports regularly as a backup habit — monthly is a good cadence for active agencies
  • Commissions export includes all lifecycle stages, so you can reconcile against supplier statements
  • Bookings export includes pre-tax price and commission rate — useful for year-end accounting
  • CSVs are UTF-8 encoded and RFC 4180 compliant, so they open cleanly in Excel and Google Sheets
